barn owl sketch

Just a quick sketch (with photo reference). Trying to learn more about birds, and I really like owls so I thought I would start here. Night! :)

Still can't sleep

After the last two posts I got in the drawing mood. I think the drawing reflects my sleepiness.. and I like drawing the burrowed brows.

Late night sketchbook post

Wide awake.. just another excuse to add another post. These were drawn I believe last weekend. April and I brought our sketchbooks to the barn and sat down by the baby rabbits. The turkeys were very intrigued by us, and I managed to get a few sketches of them as they stared at us over the fence. When I tried to sit down inside the grassy area with them, they puffed up and wouldn't leave me alone. The brown one kept pecking at my pencil :/

Animation Mentor beginneth

Today is the first day of class at Animation Mentor (excite!) I will be posting here works in progress and final animations. Please feel free to post comments, all critiques are welcome. I hope to breathe some life into the art blog of mine :)
