Homework for painting class week 4 was to duplicate a painting by a famous painter or illustrator (black and white). I chose the Count of Monte Cristo by Mead Schaeffer. Starting to get the hang of this painting thing.

Getting closer to the end, but not quite there yet. Final is due soon so the sculpture will be done within the week. Will have better images for the final product, sorry for the bad pictures.
The foil process wasn't as pretty.. but next time will be better! Quickly on to the next step with super sculpey. Got the gray by mixing it with black and white premo (maybe it was fimo) clay. Did not like the flakiness so from now on I will stay with super sculpey only.
I took photos of my sculpting progress of Mrs. Brisby. At this stage I am pretty happy with the wire skeleton structure. Used the clay form of apoxy to make it sturdy. I don't think I will ever get used to the smell of that stuff...
Made these a couple years ago now for a sculpture class. Finally got images of them to post (with Leon's help, of course =D ) Soooo... here they are!! I am in another sculpture class this semester, hopefully it won't take as long to get up images!
